Meet the Team

Sarah Simpson – Director and SRI Facilitator
Meet Sarah our SRI Coach
Sarah has been part of the chiropractic and wellness community for as long as she can remember. She qualified in massage and reflexology in Bournemouth in 1993 and has been married to a chiropractor (Rowen) for just as long. Sarah is also trained in Life Coaching and SRI (Somato-Respiratory Integration). “After managing our busy clinic in London for 12 years, I realised I just wasn’t happy. So, in 2007, I decided to ‘walk the talk’ and create a new, more satisfying life for myself and our family in sunny Worthing. Our four children aged 30, 27, 25 and 13 years, have had the luxury of a wellness driven upbringing and I take great pride in their good health and general sense of wellbeing.” Apart from co-running their family chiropractic clinic and facilitating the SRI workshops; Sarah loves kayaking, dancing (5 Rhythms), the sea, music festivals, walking the dog (Django), hugging trees, meeting people, cycling, exploring new places and being with her family.
Meet Stella our Chiropractic Assistant

Stella Mumford – Chiropractic Assistant
Stella has worked in various chiropractic clinics for over 35 years, and with Rowen on and off for nearly 20 years. We were very happy to welcome her back to Spinewaves in 2025, though we still share her with Michelle Brennan’s Henfield Chiropractic clinic where she is busy as well.
Meet Chantele our Chiropractic Assistant

Chantele Travis – Chiropractic Assistant
Chantele is local to the area and lives in Worthing with her husband Barry. She has two children Katy, Jack and two cats called Tiggs and Bizcuit. As a previous patient she was so impressed with the level of care that she made it her mission to become part of our team. “I really enjoy getting to know our patients and hearing about their day. I have always believed in the power to heal ourselves, given the right tools and, that there is a natural remedy for every ailment. I have enjoyed learning about the holistic side of Chiropractic and also find the SRI workshops invaluable in helping to understand myself better.” Chantele’s favourite way to pass the time is dancing. She competed in Ballroom and Latin for many years, but now her passion is big band music, dancing the Lindy Hop. She also walks dogs in her spare time as loves being out and about in the beautiful countryside. Having now moved on from Spinewaves, Chantele still helps us out with the occasional shift when we need her however she is now busy with her new Reiki practice (Instagram – Reikinme, chantele@travis.org.uk , 07809739416)
